Spirit Mountain Casino
Grand Ronde, OR

This two-story 135,000 sf. addition was the largest expansion that Spirit Mountain Casino has undertaken. We helped re-guide the design to a structural steel and tilt-up concrete structure in order to bring the project within budget. The facility houses a state-of-the-art theater for live performances, as well as offices, gaming, a bingo parlor, assembly spaces, a buffet and elaborate kitchen. The most sensitive portion of the project involved relocating the entire surveillance system from the existing surveillance room to the new building. It was one of the largest moves ever undertaken, even compared to the major casinos in Las Vegas. As an indication of the confidence the client had in our team, they asked us to design-build two very public additions to the scope: the center courtyard water feature and the facility’s new entry porte cochère.

This was a negotiated contract.
