Governor Hotel
Portland, OR

Renovation of this grand hotel, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, involved work on six floors and the lobby of the hotel, as well as restoration of the ballroom in the adjacent Princeton Building.

Access to the areas was severely limited, as the work took place while both buildings remained open for business. The scope included relocating the lobby and reception areas, seismic upgrades and completion of a space for Starbucks, which had to be finished in just 28 days.

This was a negotiated contract.
