Ameristar Casino

Upon entering the victorian riverboat themed casino, you see Savoy’s gigantic stained glass ceiling overhead. Each of the two 190 foot long ceilings located on the property contains two 28 foot inverted ceilings at each end, two 48 foot long flat ceilings and one 38 foot center dome. Thousands of dichroic jewels sparkle and change color as you move underneath the ceiling.

A total of four of these large ceilings were produced for Ameristar at two different casino locations. All four ceilings were designed and fabricated at our Portland studio. The design of the steel frames, the lighting system, and the glass panels required tight tolerances for it to all come together on the job site.
